Okay, so I cheated my way out of this one by picking a simple background.
This is part of a challenge with my dear . My first task was: "#1. Pick an artist you admire and try to emulate an aspect of their art style you like!" OKAY SO I really love the Mononoke Series (watch it //WINKS). So I tried to imitate their colouring/use of texture and colour. Also, their way of expressing basically everything through colour, emotions, moods, temperature. It did not turn out as intended. I should have put more focus on the wall. But yeh. you live and learn, amirite!
